Special Guests
Each year, the Utah Gaming Con has the honor to host special guests including artists, voiceovers, musicians, and influencers.
These guests will be hosted on the second floor, each with their own space to interact with attendees.
This year we will be hosting the following guests:

Artist
Bruce Brenneise
Bio: Bruce Brenneise (pronounced Bren-EYE-zee) is an award- winning illustrator. He is known for world-building via vibrant, epic, otherworldly environments, helping clients flesh out ambitious stories and excite their fans.
Fun facts: Bruce studied scientific illustration at the University of Michigan (BFA), lived in China for six years, buys his signature hats from the Amish, and has traveled thirty-nine countries and counting. He lives with his wife, son, cats, and carnivorous plants in the Pacific Northwest.
He's best known for his work on MTG, D&D, Slay the Spire, and Numenera.

Brian Cummings
Bio: A multifaceted performer, Brian's work is varied and memorable, from straight announcers, to believable characters to iconic animation voices: an insane psycho for Sony Playstation, G.I. Joe villain Dr. Mindbender, Doofus in Disney's Ducktales, the fidgety Chef Bouche from Beauty & the Beast, even screaming rock-star veggie Lick Broccoli.
Brian has also played major roles in Metal Gear Solid and Dark Souls and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
On major networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and Starz, his indie promos have hyped hit shows like King of Queens, Seinfeld, Family Feud, Regis & Kelly, and more.

Critical Hit Collective brings the power and nostalgia of video game music to life through jazz. With a love for the classics and the latest game soundtracks, we deliver an experience that resonates with everyone who has picked up a controller or watched a favorite movie unfold.
Critical Hit Collective will be on stage at 4pm upstairs during the 3rd Annual Utah Gaming Con.

Bio: Jason Jensen, known as DaPaPaJJ, is a passionate gamer, creator, and collector who has been deeply involved in the gaming community since 2015. Through his work with gaming companies like Geek Factor Media and ButterflieGaming, DaPaPaJJ has consistently shared his insights and coverage of in-person events, industry updates, and collaborations with non-profit organizations to support community outreach. DaPaPaJJ's mission is to share his passion for the gaming world with others, creating a positive community and memorable relationships.

Bio: Alex Dos Diaz is a creative and professional artist/illustrator based out of Pennsylvania. Their personal artworks are based on psychological themes visually inspired by his love for Japanese animation, design and video games.

Miranda Meeks
Miranda Meeks is a professional illustrator specializing in haunting and ethereal illustrations that weave beauty and darkness together. She is best known for her Magic the Gathering cards like "Indulging Patrician," The Blood Token, and "Narci, Fable Singer," as well as her many illustrations for author Brandon Sanderson.
Currently based in Utah, she focuses on creating personal work, in addition to work for MTG and Dragonsteel, with her two children and two cats.

Bio: Adrian Ropp is a prolific 30 year veteran of the entertainment industry. He’s been an animator and director (The Velveteen Rabbit), a comic book artist (Underdog, Pink Panther, Archie) and a story lead for the acclaimed Disney Infinity and Hogwarts Legacy. He has worked with top talent at Disney, Warner Bros., Pixar, Lucasfilm and Marvel Studios and prides himself on providing new adventures for the world’s most beloved characters.
